revised for GTR2 by So-Cal-Racing and BillBro
Original Track created by EA from Need for Speed: Shift 2 Unleashed
S2U to rFactor Conversion by Triebie
rFactor to GTR2 Conversion by Izukon
Description by So-Cal-Racing :
This track was converted by Triebie over 5 years ago then Izukon converted it to GTR2.
Today I changed the track lighting and added more road grip still seems that it’s not enough, plus I zoomed in some of the cams, changed just a few things on the TRK file.
known issues :
the cars launch into the air at the 2 bridges that have to much height (maybe someone can lower them).
updates by BillBro :
AIW, .GDB and .TRK files
The .AIW is updated so the cars take the jumps in a straight line, so they land straight and do not spin out. I also adjusted the corridors so the AI no longer drive up on the sidewalks. They’re still very slow going through the sector 3 hairpin area. I’ll work on that when I can find the time. The .GDB is updated to allow the pits to work correctly, and the max vehicles have been set to 48.
The .TRK file had almost everything set as not visible in the rear view mirrors, so you would see the sky in the mirrors, with the cars behind floating towards you. I also fixed the start and pit lights. I just realized I did not include the updated .gmt’s for that. Will upload them soon. But the text in the .TRK file is set to use them correctly.
Remember to delete the old .HAT file before using the updates. Copy the old files being replaced to a safe location so that you can revert back if you have any issues.
