This is an Addon-Car for the GRID GT / Prototypes Mod 2006-2012 v2.0

Note :

this vehicle can also be installed and driven without the Grid prototypes mod.

The Chevrolet Corvette C8.R is a grand tourer racing car built by Pratt & Miller and Chevrolet for competition in endurance racing. It serves as the replacement for the Corvette C7.R, using the C8 generation Chevrolet Corvette as a base.

Corvette Racing fielded the C8.R in the IMSA SportsCar Championship GT Le Mans (GTLM) class starting with the 2020 season.

The car was built to LM GTE specifications as per GTLM rules.

– added new body shadow texture (better anti-aliasing)
– created new tech specs for showroom

The required sound files are NOT included in this mod !

This vehicle uses the Sounds from the GRID GT Chevrolet C7.R

Deinstall / Install Instructions :

i recommend always to DELETE FIRST any previous versions of this car / mod to prevent crashes / mismatches !

for that, navigate into your “GTR2-GameData-Teams-GRID_GT…” directory and delete the complete folder “Chevrolet Corvette C8R Teams” – done.

to install, extract with WinRAR or else and drop the GameData folder into your GTR2 main-directory – allow to overwrite existing one with “YES ALL” – done.

No original GTR2 files will be overwritten.
