Radical SR3 for GTR2

converted from RACE07 by RMi

incl. sounds + individual selection menu

Mod Infos :

This is a direct conversion of Race07 to the GTR2 platform. No changes in physics have been made (except for the RMi cars). Only enhanced graphics such as emaps and texture quality have
been changed. Other graphical features disabled in Race07 are now present such as discbrake glow and enhanced shadows.

Permission is granted to use the RMi version cars and physics for conversion to the Race07 platform only, no request needed, please include this original readme. All other use of RMi physics files from this mod is not granted without express permission of RMi.

The SR3 is the next step up from the SR1 offering thrilling, cost-effective, high-performance track driving and racing.

First launched in 2001, it is the most widely produced and most successful prototype style sportscar racer in the world, with over 1,100 sold. This bears testament to its proven track record and stunning value verses performance and is surely the reason why the SR3 has been selected by the Race of Champions for the champions of F1TM and other major race series to race, achieving the fastest racing lap at the last 2 Race of Champion Events.

The Generation 4 engine offers improved reliability, better drivability and more power.

Expansion :

All skins created for Race07 will work with this conversion. Folders for team years 2007 and 2008 have been provided for those persons wishing to build proper seasons and championship series. RMi teams do not represent any real life racing series, nor do they represent any actual race series. The RMi physics are however loosely based on real team specifications.

RMi physics :

– Dyno matched engine
– Realistic aero
– Balanced suspension
– Full garage options for comprehensive tuning

Known Issues :

– Motec not fully done
– Interior and exterior animated drivers are not aligned “perfectly”
– No “visor” view ala Race07 (do we miss that at all ?)

Acknowledgement :

We encourage the community to produce high quality add-ons such as sounds, wheels, real life team skins and championship series. Add-ons will be directly convertable to Race07 and will help to push the decision to purchase the full game for those that have not yet done so. RMi clearly believes that this conversion will enhance the already great product from Simbin, and in no way should this release be a Race07 purchase alternative.
