Snowy Fields is a fictional, 4 km long country road course which leads through a snowy mountain landscape.

You can activate or deactivate the snow animation with renaming .trk file :
Snowyfields.trk_ORI //without Snow Animation
Snowyfields.trk //with Snow Animation
Installation Instructions :
extract the .rar file with WinRAR or similar unpacker and copy-paste the GameData folder to
your GTR2 main directory – allow to overwrite all existing folders / files with “YES ALL” – done.
Important Note :
This track uses a modified specialfx.tec file.
When you install this track, the original specialfx.tec file will be overwritten.
There is also a copy of the default GTR2 specialfx.tec file included (specialfx_ORIGINAL.tec).
If you want to set this file back, simple delete the “specialfx.tec” file from your GTR2\GameData\Locations directory
and rename the “specialfx_ORIGINAL.tec” to “specialfx.tec” – done.
New specialfx.tec infos :
For the snow effect you need new entrys in the specialfx.tec, in …\GameData\Locations folders.
In this package is a updatet file and the original GTR2 file.
Without this 3 files GTR2 is crashing when loading this track.
