GTR2 Conversion & updates by philrob
This is a conversion of the great GPL track, by Chris Kelly, Chris gave permission to convert this back in July 06 but it never happened.So here is my version of Mt Panorama sometime in the late 60’s early 70’s.
I have changed most textures and added many new ones, re-modelled some of the objects, added lighting and shadows, created the pit infield and built a new aiw, I have also planted an acre or two of eucalyptus along with lots i have forgotten. It is a great race without the chicane on Conrod and may tide you all over till the promised scratch build arrives.
Many thanks to Krunch for his great sky and many other track textures,that i have used and of course thanks to Chris Kelly for a superb track base to work from. Thanks must also go to Motorfx for his great new pitlane aiw, advice and beta testing, thanks also to Andrew West in Oz for his photos and info.
you must drive the pit lane fully, to the pit exit lights – and not just drive straight out.
This has been a long time coming due to problems with the horizon, and no time to fix, but i feel it is as good as i can get it, so here it is.
