Mod Infos :
I “converted” these cars because I love them, and the way they handle. They have little Aero, locked gears, and limited set-up parameters. Their GTL counterparts, were hard to control, and very twitchy, so I made them a bit more stable.
They also seemed very underpowered, So I gave them a bigger motor, and added an extra gear. And after seeing a Video (watch below) I felt that maybe the extra power wasn’t a bad thing. Since they now had more power, they also needed better gearing, hence the sixth gear. I hope that everyone gets a kick out of them like I do!
Warning !
If you have either legends mod, please make a back up of your STEX2.GTR file as I did add some motec materials to it, and I don’t know if that will have an adverse affect on your prior mod !
Installation:
Drop the Gamedata folder onto your main GTR2 folder. Say yes to overwrite.
No Original files will be overwritten. Just the gamedata and teams folder will be. The Escorts will have their own folder in Teams.
KNOWN ISSUES:
There are some cars, The sim junkies, where the stripes do not line up on the front grille. DX9 is recommended, as well as high res rims.
