Kyalami Racing Circuit (from Khaya lami, My home in Zulu) is a motor racing circuit located in Midrand, Gauteng province, South Africa. The circuit has been used for Grand Prix and Formula One races and has hosted the South African Grand Prix many times. Among the Formula One races held at the track the 1977 South African Grand Prix stands out, as it is principally remembered for the fatal accident that claimed the lives of race marshal Frederick Jansen van Vuuren and driver Tom Pryce.
In recent years, the area surrounding the circuit has developed into a residential and commercial suburb of Johannesburg. More recently, Kyalami has played host to five rounds of the Superbike World Championship from 1998 to 2002 and later in 2009 and 2010, the season finale of the Superstars Series in 2009 and 2010, and the South African round of the 2008–09 A1 Grand Prix season.

you should’nt have to delete hat file if you had the earlier version that I did, released by DD and Uwe, but if you have named the original release similar to this, it best to go into your log and delete the hat file…this a new version and is based on the latest track released with the rFactor GPC79 mod and track pack, includes rain reflections and animated marshalls that I put in the
now retextured and updated, for GTR2 and Race07, done lots of little extras, some are not that noticible…but you should find the road is smoother going past the pits, pits now have new entrance so starts are better and cars wont miss passing the xpitin…some had problems running the original, on servers…so made a few changes.
Version 2.6 :
after spending over two days to sort out and fix the earlier CTD problems, and after the online testing, (thanks to “sunalp2” and “=SiGi=” of eSR) I repacked the 2.5 rar for upload to nogrip, but unfortunately I only went and removed the wrong aiw file, so the uploaded version 2.5 has the old aiw file, version 2.6 now has the correct one with the fixes for online use, including the updated fast path, because some ai cars were sliding off at sunset bend.
Plus with regard to that, this also now includes an altered gdb with northdir=140 changed has suggested by “robrace” above, so “everyone can be on the same page” and to prevent any gdb mismatch problems if used online..
Version 2.5 :
– fixed online problems, new aiw, new materials/textures, alterations to pits

– made some updates that I put into a version ready for race07, plus this now has proper gtr2 type startlights and pit lights.
