Circuit de Monaco is a street circuit laid out on the city streets of Monte Carlo and La Condamine around the harbour of the principality of Monaco. It is commonly referred to as “Monte Carlo” because it is largely inside the Monte Carlo neighbourhood of Monaco.
The circuit is used on two weekends in the month of May of each year to host the Formula One Monaco Grand Prix and Formula E Monaco ePrix (odd years) or Historic Grand Prix of Monaco (even years). Formula One’s respective feeder series over the years – Formula Two, Formula 3000 and today the GP2 Series – also visit the circuit concurrently with Formula One.

GTR2 Conversion :
He performed the original conversion from rFactor of Monaco v1.2 to GTR2.
I added all of the crowd, announcer and Horn sounds to the track.
I added all of the spectators to all the grandstands, streets and bleachers.
I changed edited textures and material settings, I also added dynamic shadows and lighting to the Circuit.
I deleted as many objects and shadows that I could to give it better fps.
I created the LOD screen and alternate trks.
He created the fantasic cams for the track.
just drop the track folder in your GTR2 Locations directory.
take the horn sound and drop them in your ambient folder in your “Sounds” folder under GameData.

Codemaster tracks are fps heavy, I have deleted as many objects and corrected as many shadows as I possibly could to get it to run. In an effort to help further I created three trk files. backup your original trk file and then use the trk best suited for your computers power. The files go as this:
1. trk#1 – Static Shadows and crowd, announcer, horn sounds
2. trk#2 – Static shadows and no crowd, announcer and horn sounds
