Informations about the track :
The PikesPeak Hill Climb is a real race track located in the Colorado Springs, USA. The Pikes Peak International Hill Climb (PPIHC), also known as the The Race to the Clouds, is an annual automobile and motorcycle hillclimb to the summit of Pikes Peak in Colorado, a distance of 19.99 km (12.42 miles) over 156 turns, climbing 1,439 metres from the start at Mile 7 on Pikes Peak Highway at 2,862 m on grades averaging 7% over both gravel and paved sections.
The overall record is held by Nobuhiro “Monster” Tajima from Japan who clocked a time of 10:01.408 on July 21st 2007 driving the 1000 hp mid-engined Suzuki XL7 Hill Climb Special.
GTR2 Features :
– starting lights and point to point timer
– Spec & Bump Maps (tarmak, grass)
What’s new in the 1.4 :
– CTD problem with high & full shadows fixed
– unnecessary trackobjects removed
– some material names changed
The track works only in the race weekend mode so select race weekend mode and standing race start.
GTR2 doesn’t fully support Point To Point counter so timer works only in the race mode. Every time you wanna race you must start/restart race. When race started, car located on the starting ‘grid’. Just wait until green light.

Installation :
1. Unzip BergRennen_Green_GTR2_1.4.zip
2. Copy folder ‘BergRennen’ to ‘C:\GTR2\GameData\Locations\ folder.
3. Start GTR2 game
4. Select circuit BergRennen, race weekend mode and standing race. Choose 0 or 1 opponent.
5. Enjoy!
NOTE : if you have older version of PikesPeak GTR2 track installed (track & track folder named as BergRennen), you should at first remove it. You also should remove old BergRennen.hat file from ‘GTR2\UserData\LOG\HAT’ folder !
