The Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari, better known as Imola, is a 4.909 km (3.050 mi) motor racing circuit in the town of Imola, in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy, 40 km (25 mi) east of Bologna. It is one of the few major international circuits to run in an anti-clockwise direction.
The circuit is named after Ferrari’s late founder, Enzo Ferrari (1898–1988), and his son, Alfredo “Dino” Ferrari (1932–1956). Before Enzo’s death, it was called Autodromo Dino Ferrari. The circuit has an FIA Grade One licence.
The Sim-Version :
This track is based on Imola 2010 converted from Race On by I have no idea who. Most probable author is RacerM, but I may be wrong. Imola 2010 was my favourite version of current layout but it had some flaws which annoyed me, mostly some popup objects and flickering.
I fixed all of them and in the process changed some textures and remove some banners and gantry before Tosa corner as I have decide to go for a track day / lower class racing experience.
I’m well aware that I didn’t managed to recreate the track 100% but it is close enough for me and it is also best that I can do. As with all my mods, anyone can do with this track whatever he / she want.

Installation Instructions :
extract the .rar file with WinRAR or similar unpacker and drop the track-folder into your GTR2GameDataLocations…directory – done.

It’s fairly easy to make quick convert to GTR2, just edit some lines in the trk file – change
MASFile=skies_south.gtl
to
MASFile=skies_south.gtr
And you just need teammaps.gtl from GT Legends in your Locations/shared folder to make it work
Or just grab it from Festbierbude, haha, I’ve just noticed they have it already converted to GTR2/P&G

It’s a great track, but has anyone done a version from the early days with no chicanes? That I would really love.
