as i spent hours and hours on this – i know i’m a bit slow at my age….
Car Infos from Wikipedia :
The Reliant Regal was a small three-wheeled car and van manufactured from 1953 to 1973 by the Reliant Motor Company in Tamworth, England, replacing the earlier Reliant Regent three-wheeled cyclecar van. As a three-wheeled vehicle having a lightweight (under 7 cwt, 355.6 kg) construction, under UK law it is considered a “tricycle” and can be driven on a full (class A) motorcycle licence. A light-commercial version with a side-hinged rear door was marketed as the Reliant Supervan.
Mod Description :
Do you remember that old mod from Whoops ans Se7en ?!
They presented it as a wip and as a style exercise to see if simbim could accept a 3 wheeler. no cockpit and very simple mod. as i’m not full of skills, i kept the simplicity…
I added a cockpit with the dashboard taken from the fiat 128 of B L Team, an interior and a mirror lcd with an “unlittle help from my friend Deauville…”
I had the choice beetween keeping the thing undrivable or ameliorate it to be a modern car. i choosed a compromis 60 hp and around 130 km/h which brings pleasure with a lot of attention but not frustrating…of course you can change all this – changing the cgheight in hdc, putting a f1 engine and grb, after all it’s your life (virtual, hopefully).
v2.1 – updates by SiGi, November 2019
I’ve made some quick adjustments :
– removed / cutted double visible steering wheel (external) – original file still included in the OBJ.gtr file
– revised some .CAS file entries
– changed slot numbers
– assigned new talent files (drivernames, bodies and helmets)
– added internal drivers
– corrected hood view and driver postion in .car files
– added sound files
– small adjustments on .aud file (sounds) and position
– created new class image (SIM_Reliant.tga)
– updated ReadMe files
it’s a low poly model with some errors and missing parts, no modding masterpiece, but it works in the game and is ok for some driving fun 😉
