TVR Cerbera Cup for GTR2

GTR to GTR2 Conversion and optimization by scca1981

Mod Features :

– Total of 38 stand alone TVR’s
– Drivers suits & helmets for each car
– 9 differents Rim Colors (selectable in genstring)
– Championship Included

Major Conversion issues:

– Side windows are only transparent in DX9 mode. This is being looked at.
– No dirtscreen or disc glow (original mod had no discglow).
– There are no fuel fillers on the car. So its just a guess at where the pit crew will refuel your car.

I am aware of all other smaller issues and I will patch the mod to 1.5 when I get everything fixed.

Install – Updated 11-03-07

Drop the “Gamedata” folder into your MAIN GTR2 directory.
Allow any overwrites. No original files are overwritten.

Car Infos from Wiki :

The TVR Cerbera is a sports car manufactured by TVR between 1996 and 2003. The name is derived from Cerberus the three-headed beast of Greek legend that guarded the entrance of Hades.

The TVR Cerbera was the third car manufactured by TVR under the leadership of Peter Wheeler (the first was the Griffith and the second was the Chimaera). The car represented three firsts for the Wheeler-led company:

  • The first hard-top – the Griffith and the Chimaera were both convertibles
  • The first 2+2 – TVRs were traditionally two-seaters
  • The first to be driven by TVR’s own engines—historically, TVR had purchased engines from mainstream manufacturers like Rover, Ford and Triumph

The prototype was introduced at the 1994 Birmingham Motor Show.

How to change rim colours :

in each vehicles .car file change genstring – XX1 to (first two instances are for animated driver) one of the corresponding numbers.

1 = White
2 = Red
3 = Green & Red
4 = black
5 = Grey
6 = Yellow
7 = Orange
8 = Blue
9 = Red & Green
