The Competition Coupe, using a composite body, was based largely on the Dodge Viper GTS/R concept car shown at the 2000 North American International Auto Show. It was based on the Dodge Viper SRT-10, but was created as a pure racing car (not street legal) for Viper owners, using existing SRT-10 parts to minimize cost — with initial pricing at $100,000, including a window net, 27-gallon fuel cell, racing slicks, differential cooler, and ducted brakes.
Competition Coupe pushed out 20 more horsepower (520 bhp) and 15 more lb.-ft. of torque (540 lb.-ft.) than the street-going version, thanks to a revised camshaft and exhaust. It also had better driver and engine cooling, a differential cooler, trap door oil pan and low-inertia flywheel. Anti-lock brakes were modulated by an electronic front-to-rear braking distribution control.

Description in english, because while i can speak a tiny bit of German, i thought it would be better to write in english, or it wouldnt really make any sence at all. One of my first ever mods i have made. I liked the stock Viper CC, and so then thought there should be a GT version to go with the old Viper GTS/R. The car uses stock suspension, but this has a much better setup to the stock setup of the Viper CC. Back is alot harder, and there is a bit more pressure in the rear tyres too.
It uses the V10 engine from the Viper GTS/R but with the rev limit now at 7000 max, and uses a modded Aero 8 Gearbox with better ratios. This viper also uses the GTS/R sounds, which are essentially the same as the Viper CC sounds, but a bit higher pitch. Downforce has been increased front and rear, and this makes it acutally pretty good around the corners. Now runs on GT dunlop tyres, and drinks fuel at the correct rate. I have ran some races to test how quick it is in comparison, and it seems to run fine in the GT class.
It tops out on the stock setup around 190mph, and has enough power to spin in 3rd gear. It should be noted, the paintjob was NOT by me, all credit for the Gulf Viper goes to L!nK!n007 who originally submitted that paint scheme to GTR4U a little while back.

Version 1.01 – update by SiGi for eSport-Racing.de (May 2019) :
– renamed modified files so they will not longer overwrite the default Viper CC files from GTR2
– removed all other unneeded files from mod as they already exist in GTR2
Installation Instructions :
extract the .rar file with WinRAR or similar unpacker and copy-paste the GameData folder to
your GTR2 main directory – allow to overwrite all existing folders / files with “YES ALL” – done.
No original GTR2 files will be overwritten.
choose in menu the Fia GT 2003/2004 class and scroll down till you see the “Viper GTS Coupe”.
