this reworked car can be also installed and driven as standalone without the GRID Prototypes Mod.

The Pescarolo 01 is the first sports prototype racing car built entirely by French team Pescarolo Sport. It is designed to meet the LMP1 and LMP2 regulations for Le Mans Prototypes in the Le Mans Series as well as at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and replace Pescarolo’s previous C60 chassis which had been heavily modified from cars purchased through Courage Compétition. The first 01s debuted at the 2007 1000 km of Monza.

I have reworked this old, mainly low poly car to expand / complete the grid prototype fleet. That was more work than i expected because i corrected and revised many small things.
changes :
– reworked texture settings
– fixed some flickering parts on splitter / body
– reworked all powered on lights and texture
– reworked some textures
– separated mirrors
– added new shadow file
– centered steering wheel correctly
– fixed some transparent parts
– reworked CAS file
– reworked car file entries
– corrected wheels, disk, diskglow and caliper positions
– added new damage file
– improved default gear settings for setup
– added new Judd V10 Sounds from Enduracers
– corrected expo floor position
– added new body shadow texture (better anti-aliasing)
internal cockpit :
– created new rpm and warning ligts / LEDs
– added new, reworked steering wheel (originally from JPBS.Prototypes.Mod)
– added new MoTeC
– added pedals
– created new chassis
– created cover for mis-mapped cockpit texture
– re-created not readable lettering

Deinstall / Install Instructions :
i recommend always to DELETE FIRST any previous versions of this car / mod to prevent crashes / mismatches !
for that, navigate into your “GTR2-GameData-Teams-GRID…” directory and delete the complete folder “Pescarolo 01 Teams” – done.
to install, extract with WinRAR or else and drop the GameData folder into your GTR2 main-directory – allow to overwrite existing one with “YES ALL” – done.
No original GTR2 files will be overwritten.
