Introduction

Thank you for downloading Porsche Matmut Carrera Cup France 2008 for GTR2. This is an add-on to the Porsche Mobil Supercup 08 mod that will enable you to virtually take part in the most spectacular and hard-fought single-make championship held in France. Driving the latest Porsche 911 (997) GT3 Cup, you will be able to compete on equal terms with the virtual likes of such Cup specialists as Beltoise, Parisy, Moullin Traffort, Makowiecki, and other talented pro or amateur drivers. To be up to the task, you will have to master such technically challenging and different tracks as Nogaro, Ledenon, Dijon-Prenois, Valencia or Magny-Cours. The class of your car determines the championships in which you compete: class A for the general trophy, class B for both the general and amateur trophies.

Install Instructions :

Unrar the file and merge the Gamedata folder with your GTR2/Gamedata folder.
No files from the original game or PMSC 08 mod will be overwritten.

Note : if you have downloaded and installed any of the PMCC 08 skins that I made and uploaded at www.nogripracing.com you may wish to delete them.

Things you might do for offline play :

WARNING:

the following suggestions imply a modification to the original PMSC 08 mod, which may result in online mismatch. Use them at your own risk. Keep a copy of the original files or use a separate installation.

To reduce AI unrealistic (and annoying!) stability when cars get in contact: open the 997GT3RSR_Michelin_08.hdc file and change (line 58) :

AITorqueStab=(1.25, 1.25, 1.25)

to

AITorqueStab=(1, 1, 1)

To reduce AI unrealistic slowdown at the end of races: open the 997gt3RSR_damage_08.dmg file and change (line 7) AeroMin=1100.0 to AeroMin=5000.0
