The 2008 Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup season was the 16th Porsche Supercup season. The races were all supporting races in the 2008 Formula One season. It travelled to ten circuits across Europe and also a double-header in Bahrain.
Mod Infos :
This is your chance to be a driver in the prestigious 2008 Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup. Supporting the Formula 1 circuits, there are 12 races across the world, in a season running from from April to September. And, with 28 fresh and experienced drivers looking for close racing action using identical Porsche 997 GT3 Cup cars, coming out on top will be no mean achievement!
Here’s the race schedule:
Bahrain (2 races), Barcelona, Istanbul, Monaco, Magny Cours, Silverstone, Hockenheim, Budapest, Valencia, Spa Francorchamps, Monza.
You will need to download the 5 tracks not included as standard with GTR2 – see below for where to get them. You can also run this mod on other tracks and outside the championship by choosing the mod in the game’s CLASS selector.
The engine file updated by Schuchi to reflect the real 2008 Porsche GT3 Cup car specification. Previous mods (eg PCC 2006, PMSC_07) have been based on the 2006 specs.
The skins are by Kiwisteve and reflect most cars at the end of the 2008 season. For those of you who already have the PMSC_07 mod, EXCEPT FOR A NEW BAHRAIN TRACK, the add-on tracks are the same.
Install Instructions :
deinstall FIRST any previous version before installing this new version !
This Mod is a full standalone version.
Extract the .rar file and copy the GameData folder into the GTR2 folder, let all overwrite (no original GTR2 files will be affected!). You will need the following tracks to complete the championship. The Bahrain track is a new version – please note!
