MasterBlaster Modding (Christian & Kay) presents the 1985 FIA Formula One Championship !
This mod was converted from rfactor with permission of the original creators Valiante and Markus
(see included rFactor Readme for more infos).
GTR2 physics adjustments and the 1985 season track pack was made by MasterBlaster Modding. For a better display of the high rpm’s we recommend to install the Advanced Gear Mod, which is also included.

The 1985 FIA Formula One World Championship was the 39th season of FIA Formula One motor racing. It featured the 1985 Formula One World Championship for Drivers and the 1985 Formula One World Championship for Manufacturers, both of which commenced on 7 April and ended on 3 November after sixteen races. The World Championship for Drivers was won by Alain Prost, and the World Championship for Manufacturers was won by McLaren for the second consecutive year.

To run the complete championship you need the following tracks :

Track-Pack Installation :
1. make sure that you have installed the above listed tracks
2. extract the file “F1 1985 Trackpack.rar” wich is located in the “Extras” folder
3. copy-paste the GameData folder to your GTR2 main directory – allow to overwrite all existing folders / files with “YES ALL” – done.
Special races:
For the 2 wet races (Estoril and Spa) copy the textures from the folder Wet tires into the main F1 1985 folder.
For Monza copy the frontwing.gmt from Ferrari\Monza folder into the main Ferrari folder.
Delete those files after the Grand Prixs are finished !
